Spectrum Learning Centre
May 07, 2025
Guest of Bobby McBride.
Our mission at Spectrum Learning Centre Inc. is to become a well-known and trusted point of contact for our neurodivergent families. To Ensure we achieve our goal we commit to quality care, diverse services, and ongoing communication with staff and families to understand and meet therapy goals. Staff at SLC know all to well how daunting it can be to receive a diagnosis for your child and not know what to do next. We will be that source of comfort and support when it comes to next steps. We will work alongside the families, so they have more involvement and a better understanding of what happens during a therapy session |

ALS Canada Community Ambassador
May 28, 2025
Friend of Brian Thompsons. Andrew Dundas has been an IT project manager for almost 30 years, with a focus on healthcare projects for the last 15+ years. He lives with his wife and two adult children in Whitby. He was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis – also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease – along with Parkinson’s Disease, on December 7, 2022. From the first day of his diagnosis, he had the choice to hide or share his experience and try to make a difference. He has made the choice to not only put himself out there and share his experience but also start a fundraising campaign called the ALS Virtual Mobility Challenge where he has been “virtually cycling” across Canada – a total distance of approximately 7,500km – or the distance of the TransCanada Highway from Victoria, BC to St. John’s, NFLD. |
